Presidenti i 40-te, Ronald Wilson Regan ne 100 vjetorit te lindjes se tij,

dhe te behet i pari afrikano-amerikan qe merr detyren ne Shtepine e Bardhe
te Presidentit.
Presidenti Franklin Roosevelt gjate perurimit te tij te pare mbajti
fjalimin historik ne 1933 duke folur per Depresionin e Madh, tha se "Pra, para se
gjithash, me lejoni te mbroj besimin tim te forte se e vetmja gje qe ne
duhet te frikesohemi eshte vete frika", tha Roosevelt.

afte te rrezikoje zgjedhje te lira. Regjimet e mbjellura me bajonete dhe
kultivuar vetem me diktature nuk leshojne rrenje" ka thene Regani.
Nese ne vend te bajonetes do qendronte fjala "diktature e eger staliniste"
si ajo e Enver Hoxhes ne Shqiperi, per 50 vjet, atehere mund te thuhet se
fjalimi i Reganit, "ndoshta ishte shkruar enkas per Shqiperine".
Postkomunizmi, i bijeve te saj qe militojne ne disa parti te majta ne Shqiperi, dhe
duan te bejne "demokracine" si duan ata nuk eshte aspak me human se
