Bursa Meeting Declaration 1 – Justice and Freedoms Platform considers the problem of freedom to be an inseparable whole.2 – Our Platform declares that it will go on struggling against the headscarf ban and against all its ramifications and effects, until their complete elimination in all areas, including primary schools and public offices and bodies.3 – Justice and Freedoms Platform will continue to inform the public about all kinds of misinformation and misleading statements preceding the general elections implying that the ban will end after the elections.  4 – A new constitution has for some time been on the agenda of Turkey. Our Platform will go on monitoring the process of writing a new constitution. 5 – Justice and Freedoms Platform will make all efforts for the solution of the Kurdi
 sh question, by insisting for full guarantees for human rights, including the right of education in the mother tongue. And it will also demand the same rights for all religious, sectarian or ethnic identities. 6 – Our Platform will continue to struggle on the basis of justice and equality, against capitalist siege and labour exploitation.7 – The delay concerning the beginning of legal proceedings against Israel for its raid on the Mavi Marmara ship has been disturbing the public conscience. Justice and Freedoms Platform considers the monitoring of legal processes and proceedings on this matter to be a matter of conscience and social and political responsibility.8 – Our Platform will announce its solidarity with the Muslims of Azerbaijan, Albania and Kosovo concerning the headscarf ban, f
 or the imposition of which attempts are being made.9 – Justice and Freedoms Platform welcomes the uprising or Intifada of the people of Tunisia and Egypt against dictators.
