Turqi: Ministri i Kulturës dhe Turizmit të Turqisë, Ertogroul Gkounai, konfirmoi dhe zyrtarisht zbulimin e një bible mbi 1500-vjeçare.

Kjo bibël është shkruar në gjuhën e Krishtit, pra në gjuhën aramaike.
Libri/bibla ka kopertin lëkure, ai ra në duart e policisë pas një sulmi të kësaj të fundit e cila ishte vënë në gjurmët dhe po ndiqte një rrjet kontrabandistësh të cilët kooperoni në jug të vendit.
Bibla 1500-vjeçare ndodhet në gjendje shumë t mirë.

Specialistët konsiderojnë se kjo bibël përbën një perlë të vërtet shumë të çmuar, ku vlera e saj fillestare në valutë çmohet të paktën 17 milionë euro, ndërsa përsa i përket vlerës shpirtërore të saj ajo konsiderohet me vlera kolosale. Bibla ndodhet në gjendje të mirë për shkak se është ruajtur me kujdes si dhe falë përbërjes së saj nga një përpunim i veçantë lëkure.
Menjëherë pas zbulimit dhe konfirmimit të origjinalitetit të saj, kjo bibël u çmua si pasuri kombëtare dhe ruhet në Muzeun Kombëtarë të Etnografisë në Turqi, i cili ndodhet në kryeqytetin e saj, Ankara.
Sipas burimeve të fundit dhe konfirmimin e tyre nga mediat turke, Vatikani ka treguar një interes të madh karshi kësaj bible.
Sipas tyre, Selia e Shenjtë tashmë i ka kërkuar qeverisë turke që të dërgojë specialistët/historianët e saj për të studiuar më në detaj këtë bibël, edhe pse ambasade e Vatikanit në Turqi e përgënjeshtroi lajmin, duke pohuar se Vatikani nuk ka dorëzuar ende ndonjë kërkesë/shkresë zyrtare ndaj shtetit turk rreth çështjes në fjalë.

Por siç edhe dihej, tashmë kanë filluar konceptimet dhe okazionet e para rreth kësaj bible që për shumë historian dhe teolog, përbën vërtet një perlë të ‘pastër’ mbi të vërtetën e historisë së fesë dhe origjinën e saj.
Të shumtë janë ata të cilët thonë se kjo Bibël, mund të jetë një kopje e “Ungjilli i Shën Varnava”.
Madje mediat turke iu referuan asaj me kryeartikuj dhe me titullin: “Ungjilli i Shën Varnava ngjallë interesin e Vatikanit”.

Nëse kjo vërtetohet, atëherë ndodhemi përballë një zbulimi tronditës, pasi “Ungjilli i Shën Varnava”, që konsiderohet se është shkruar nga nxënësi i Krishtit, i cili përkatësisht i përket ciklit të ngushtë të 70 apostujve, përshkruan jetën e Jezu Krishtit dhe thuhet (nga fetë përkatëse bashkëkohore) se dorëshkrimet e tij gjenden vetëm në dy kopje dhe në dy gjuhë të ndryshme në Italisht dhe Spanjisht, të cilat datojnë të më vonshme në shekullin e 16-të.

Mbetet të theksohet se një pjesë e konsiderueshme e historianëve akademik të fesë katolike dhe asaj myslimane, e konsiderojnë këtë bibël si një pseudografi, pasi pohimet/tregimet e saj bien në kundërshtim me referimet/tregimet që përshkruajnë Etërit kishtar të Dhiatës së Re.

I have to admit from the outset of this story, I do have my reservations about the whole thing. This is due partly to the bad experience I had in Egypt many years ago, concerning a pumpkin with the words "Bismillah Rahman Raheem" embossed across it - from the growth of the pumpkin itself.
Later it turned out to be a prank played by the farmers in the area, by writing on the pumpkins with acid when they are first forming.

A secret Bible in which Jesus is believed to predict the coming of the Prophet Muhammad to Earth has sparked serious interest from the Vatican.
Pope Benedict XVI is claimed to want to see the 1,500-year-old book, which many say is the Gospel of Barnabas, that has been hidden by the Turkish state for the last 12 years.

The £14million handwritten gold lettered tome, written in the native language of Jesus (Aramaic), is said to contain early teachings from Jesus, peace be upon him, and more important to Muslims - a prediction of a prophet to come after him - namely MOHAMED.
The leather-bound text, written on animal hide, was discovered by Turkish police during an anti-smuggling operation in 2000.
It was closely guarded until 2010, when it was finally handed over to the Ankara Ethnography Museum, and will soon be put back on public display following a minor restoration.
A photocopy of a single page from the handwritten ancient manuscript is thought to be worth £1.5million.
Turkish culture and tourism minister Ertugrul Gunay said the book could be an authentic version of the Gospel, which was suppressed by the Christian Church for its strong parallels with the Islamic view of Jesus.
He also said the Vatican had made an official request to see the scripture - a controversial text which Muslims claim is an addition to the original gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
In line with Islamic belief, the Gospel treats Jesus as a human being and not a God.
It rejects the ideas of the Holy Trinity and the Crucifixion and reveals that Jesus predicted the coming of the Prophet Muhammad.
In one version of the gospel, he is said to have told a priest: 'How shall the Messiah be called? Muhammad is his blessed name'.
And in another verse, Jesus denies being the Messiah, claiming that he will be from the decedent of Abraham, peace be upon, an Ishmaelite, the term used for Arabs.
Despite the interest in the newly re-discovered book, some believe it is a fake and only dates back to the 16th century.(still that would be curious to find out: who?, what?, why? & how?)
The oldest copies of this book actually do date back to that time, but these are written in Spanish and Italian.
Protestant pastor İhsan Özbek said it was unlikely to be authentic.
This is because St Barnabas lived in the first century and was one of the Apostles of Jesus, in contrast to this version which is claimed to be from the 5th or 6th century.
He told the Today Zaman newspaper: 'The copy in Ankara might have been written by one of the followers of St Barnabas."
'Since there is around 500 years in between St Barnabas and the writing of the Bible copy, Muslims may be disappointed to see that this copy does not include things they would like to see.
'It might have no relation with the content of the Gospel of Barnabas.'
Theology professor Ömer Faruk Harman said a scientific scan of the bible may be the only way to reveal how old it really is.

EDITOR FOR ISLAMNEWSROOM: I totally agreed with Sheikh Yusuf Estes. This may or may not be just another fake "proof" for Muslims to concern themselves, while all the time the real "proof" for Islam is right in front of us all - the Holy Quran. Please encouage Muslims everywhere to stop watching so much TV, listeing to so much music, and wasting time arguing over these matters.
We have a very real serious situation for Muslims all around the world - our efforts should be toward repentance, seeking forgiveness and making dua for other brothers and sisters everywhere who are suffering at the hands of seroius oppressors.
