STATEN  ISLAND, NY - Nje perplasje shume e forte ne mes te nje 
autoambulance dhe nje  automjeti BMW tip SUV, ka lene dy te vdekur, njeri prej tyre 
eshte sipas  policise nje pensionit nga Departament i Zjarrefikesve "FDNY" dhe 
punonjes i Sherbimet  Emergjente  Mjekesore,  "EMS" i cili ishte duke punuar 
si nje ndihmes per Spitalin Universitar ne Staten  Island - dhe nje djale i 
ri, emigrante shqiptare - nga Dibra e Madhe, mosha te  cilit ende nuk eshte 
konfirmuar .



Aksidenti: 
Perplasja,  ndodhi ne bulevardin e njohur te ketij qyteti Hylan, ne 
ishullin e Staten Island  aty pikerisht ku jeton dhe nje numer i madh i komunitetit 
dibran, menjehere pas  ores 19:00 te dites se hene, sipas kohes se Nju 
Yorkut( 3:00 pas mesnate me  kohen e qytetit te Dibres se Madhe) prane 
kryqezimit te rruges Seacrest Avenue  ne lagjen Eltingville 

Deshmitaret thane paraprakisht se shoferi i nje  BMW tip SUV i cili 
udhetonte ne drejtim te veriut te bulevardit Hylan u perplase  forte me 
Autoambulancen nje automjet i spitalit SIUH, e cila ishte duke ecur me  shpejtesi per 
ne drejtim te jugut te bulevardit Hylan per Spitalin Universitar  ne Staten 
Island me nje rast emergjent, mbasi kishin marre nje pacient ne  shoqerimin e 
dy paramedikeve. 
Megjithese  eshte ende eshte heret te percaktohen shkaqet e ketij aksidenti 
fatal, por  thuhet se aksidenti tragjik me vdekjen e dy personave dy 
shoferave te dy  automjeteve ka ardhur nga qe asnjeri prej tyre nuk ka mundur te 
shmange  perplasjen e "vdekjes". 
Policia  dhe emregjenca 


Policia  tha se ka gjetur ne vendgjarje autombulancen kthyer ne anen e saj 
dhe BMV e  tipit SUV dalur jashte rruge. Duke nisur ne fillim me gjetjen e 
njerezve,  policia tha se gjeti menjehere trupin e pajete te shoferit te BMW, 
te cilin  dokumentat ne automjet por dhe burimet ne vendgjarje e kan 
identifikuar si  Benjamin Buxhaku, shoferi i automjetit te tij. Policia tha 
gjithashtu se ai u  shpall i vdekur ne vendngjarje, ne nderkohe qe mosha e tij - 
ende nuk eshte bere  e ditur 

Sipas zedheneses se Spitalit Universitar ne Staten Island Arleen  Ryback 
thuhet se: "Nje prej paramedikeve qe qendronte ende ne autoambulance i  
bllokur nga "jesteku i ajrit", i quajtur David Restuccio, 58 vjeç, vdiq pas  
perplasjes dhe vdekja e tij - u konfirmua te henen ne mbremje ne  spital."


Nje burim i njohur me hetimin, tha Restuccio ishte bllokuar  brenda 
ambulances kur arriten policia, zjarrefiksit, dhe autoambulanacat, dhe  vdiq nga 
plaget e shumta ne pjese te brendshme te trupit, pasi u dergua ne  Spitalin 
Universitar ne Staten Island .


Ndihmesi i dyte, i  identifikuar nga hetuesit e ngjarjes se eshte Yusuke 
Yonehara, i cili ka marre  demtime pa rrezikun per jeten ashtu si dhe pacienti 
i tyre qe po transportohej  per ne spital emri i te cilit ende nuk eshte 
bere i ditur, jane marre dhe po  trajtohen ne spitalin SIUH's Ocean Breeze, 
per vleresimin e gjendjes se tyre,  shendetesore, tha zedhenesia e Spitalit 
Universitar ne Staten Island Arleen  Ryback . 
Deshmitaret: 



Nje  motorist, i quajtur Robert Genco nga lagjia Annadale - Staten Island, 
u tha  hetuesve dhe policise se autoambulanca u perplase "eger" me makinen e 
BMW e  tipit SUV, autoambulanca e goditi menjehere, megjithse, shoferi i 
BMW sipas tij  - i dha gazit automjetit te tij ndoshta qe shmange perplasjen, 
por kjo qe po  tregoje ka qene "pune sekondash" dhe erdhi deri tek 
tragjedia, tha  ai.


"Une per vete kam qene me fat, tha ai, mbasi autoambulanca mund  te kete 
qene duke me goditur edhe mua, vetem Zoti me shpetoi God blessed me "  tha 
Genco. Ai shtoi se ishte ne rruge e siper per ne shtepine e tij - mbasi  kishte 
dale nga puna e tij ne Bay Ridge, dhe e pershkroi aksidentin fatal duke  
thene se: "Une kam qene duke e bere kete udhe shtepi pune e anasjelltas per  
tridhjete vjet por kurre nuk kam pare nje aksident si ky qe pashe  sot."


Nje deshmitare tjeter qe iu rrefye policise eshte edhe Breana  Imbrugia, 23 
vjeçe, nga Bay Princ, e cila udhetonte se bashku me te dashurin e  saj, tha 
se ishte aq afer me perplasejen sa qe xhami i automjeteve qe u  perplasen 
fluturoi ne xhamin perpara Mercedesit te tyre. Michael Hitsous, 21  vjeç, tha 
se ai jeton poshte bllokut ku ndodhi aksidenti dhe nxituam ne  vendngjarje 
pas degjimit te "zhurmes se madhe". "Ishte nje zhurme e madhe, tha  ai une 
shkova per te pare se çfare ka ndodhur. Une isha ne shok kur pashe gjithe  
ate gjak ne rruge dhe gjithçka ishte e tmerrshme", tha ai.
