It is my pleasure to announce the launch as of 22 July 2007 of a new  
blog on the internet.  Albanian Reality Check is dedicated to  
fighting the pernicious Anti-Albanian lies and general hypocrisies of  
Serbian and Greek Nationalists and their allies (such as Julia Gorin  
and Don Feder), both on the internet and off.  For far too long, the  
Albanian community and it's friends and allies have taken an "ignore  
them and they'll go away" attitude.  However, just as we often  
learned in school that ignoring the "bully" not only did not make him  
or her go away, but just made them all the more determined, so too it  
is with the Albanophobes and their allies.  Our silence, rightly or  
wrongly, is interpreted as being that we have no "answer" for them;  
indeed that we may well be guilty of exactly what they accuse us of,  
since if we were not, we would answer their "charges".  Well, now  
there is an "answer"!

let us know what you think of our efforts.  And if you are so  
inclined, can put together rational counter-arguments to the  
Albanophobe's lies, and are fluent in written english,  we would ask  
that you please consider volunteering to contribute posts to the  
blog! As the old AIDS t-shirts used to say "Silence=Death".  Well,  
there is silence no longer.  The battle will be long and hard, but we  
are not daunted.  We hope you will be with us!
