Re: smooth out your pedal stroke

I did that to a 1973 Motobecane Grand Record, a very nice bike, which I use
for my errand lockup bike -- nice enough to be fun to ride, useful with
fenders, rack and panniers, dyno lighting and two-speed fixed cog (42 X
17/20 -- never shift, though) and cheap enough that I don't mind locking it
up in public. All my other bikes are fixed except for my off road/touring
Fargo.

Note though that at least around here (ABQ, NM), decent, old frames with
horizontal dropouts have become very scarce in the last two or three years:
before that they were quite common.
