I would think so. I would think if someone were to show a film,  
charging folks to see it and there were other people who were  
involved in the making of that film that receive  royalties, someone  
might get a little pissed off.

The son of my best friend played a kid who got eaten by a shark in a  
very famous movie that was filmed here. His name is in the credits  
and he gets a constant flow of royalty checks.  Every time that movie  
plays on TV or cinema some where in the world or a tape or DVD of it  
is sold, he gets a little bit. Little bits add up. He's now in his  
mid 40's and he is still getting them.
