Mark, almost everywhere you shop for anything they will give you a
plastic bag.  Those are valuable on tour.  I use one for doing laundry
in, when there isn't a sink to be used.  Then you can use it as a
trash bag, and presto, you had three uses out of it.

Sometimes I pack some still damp/wet laundry in one (plastic bag) in
the mornings, till the sun comes out, and I hang my laundry on my
panniers.

Best of all, it is very light weight, and the price is unbeatable.
