From: [email protected] [[email protected]] > How would this list change if you were to be gone 3 months or so. Or would it. I don't know that it would. I'd probably add a swimsuit and a thin synthetic t-shirt (Patagonia Capeline type). Those t-shirts stink far more than wool ones, but dry far more quickly. They are good for water activities. A 3 month trip means I'll probably be passing some shops. If mid-tour I discover that I'd much rather have another shirt or another pair of bike shorts I could pick those up on the trip. Once you get past 3 nights I don't really see a difference in packing for 3 nights or 3 months. I find the same is true for me with regular travel as well. There is no advantage for me to travel with 2 weeks worth of clothing vs 3 or 4 nights worth. I don't think that I'd wear out a shirt from washing in every few days in 3 months. After all I'm wearing a wool t-shirt today which is 9 years old, worn at least once week in those 9 years, and which is still doing well. If it is washed after every 4th washing (about normal for me with wool t-shirts) that is close to 100 washings and close to 500 wearings. With daily or every other day wearing it should still last me 2 years. alex
