Re: cycle-paths, safe or not

The town of West Tisbury here on Martha's Vineyard is possibly the  
most progressive town we have here. There is about 6 or 7 miles of  
bike paths within the state forest that is in West Tisbury. Their  
official stance is that they have a network perfectly fine multi user  
facilities called the public road ways.

Now if we could only require that all holders of licenses to drive  
motor vehicles be mandated to go through added training to get it  
through their collective C.R I. (Cranial Rectal Inversion) brains  
that cyclists are road users and have every right to be out there on  
the road as we all know we do.
