Re: small camera

I want to add one more voice of support for Canon Powershot A series.  
They take AA batteries (often just 2), most take standard SD cards, take 
exquisite pictures, have a viewfinder and plenty of other conveniences 
(e.g. many can be used as a webcam by just connecting a USB cable).  
There are plenty of them of them on Ebay nearly for free.  I bought my 
A520 for $25 in a pretty pristine condition with all original items.  
That camera is a jewel compared to a Nikon I bought as new for $130 or 
so.  The way I see it, it is pointless to buy a new camera in the 
current situation.
