attn: the fellow who—a couple or few weeks back (i realize that this is untimely, but i wanna clear my deck)—mentioned that he insures that his in-camp tube repair job was properly executed by mounting it (i.e., switching it out), then checking on its integrity—the following morning excellent idea, only, wouldn't it save a step—and potentially more—if you were to simply (over-)inflate the naked, patched tube and check IT in the morning? please forgive this lurking troll if i'd misread or "misremembered" the details of your posting, but i think i got it right and it worthy of a post otherwise, oh!—the humiliation!!!
