There used to be a place that made them in NH.

Seems like a very limited market and a quick search reveals nothing.

Seems to me there was an article on railbikes in the WSJ years ago,
but I can't find it.

If I remember it correctly, one enthusiast was an ER doc and he
actually liked to ride at night on ACTIVE rail lines. He'd get off
when he saw the lights of approaching trains.
