Boorum & Pease / Esselte also make a nice line of blank books in various
form-factors and paper styles. I find them extremely durable, and have been
carrying a series of 6 3/8" x 4" top-bound notebooks in my hip pocket for
the last 40 years. They fill up, but they don't wear out.
