Just my $.02. If any accident involving an automobile results in the death of another person, the person at fault should be charged with a felony. A felon can no longer vote or own a gun and probably some other things. I think the level of punishment should be determined by a judge.

But for those that are, getting behind the wheel should be classified as "brandishing a deadly weapon" and the weapon should be forfeited.
