That 308 uses expensive shells and is rough on squirrels and rabbits  
an such. You will need some sort off meat preservation technique for  
what that one is good for; and a hunting license.

<<Probably move west and sell the car for junk and
get a 308 single shot Rossi rifle to hunt for food
and do some gold panning.
