OK, so car drivers who accidentally injure or kill cyclists are felons, but cyclists who injure or kill pedestrians are innocent? Yes, the girl was only 4 but if you read about the case in a rather more serious source than some internet comedian, the NY Times for example:

Then you will note some key phrases:

"under the supervision of their mothers"

and

"did not find that the girl was liable, but merely permitted a lawsuit brought against her, another boy and their parents to move forward."

If that 87-old woman had been my mother, then I too would sue the crap out of the parents of the girl.
