You've clearly not acquainted yourself with the "moorshooz" theory as 
published by I. Heels of Clarks university which clearly states that 

"savings from bargains achieved will in turn be consumed whilst making 
further savings from bargains not previously considered"

In other words, you'll simply blat more as the gas lasts longer and you 
consume the additional.....
