I'm interested in two main things. One is drawing graphs and trying to 
figure out what I'm doing right and wrong on the track. I'm guessing 
that these rates will be good enough for this. The other is drawing cool 
track maps ;-) I'm guessing if you added the accelerometers, these 
sample rates wouldn't be high enough for the maps. Anyone with a 
"proper" data logging system care to comment?

Is there any scope to increase that, e.g. by paying for more memory, or is that
the limit? I'd ideally like to be able to log a whole track day (maybe up to
3 hours track time). Perhaps if the data could be downloaded to a temporary
store, like a Palm, before finally transferring to the PC...

I understand about your reluctance to use more memory / processing power in
the microcontroller in order to produce less cryptic logs. How about a feature
in the PC software to export in comma-delimited format so that we could
import into Excel or some other tool? Quite possibly not in r1.0, obviously ;-)
