Talking about 13" wheels still? Reason I ask is that my friend has 8" ACB10s on 15" wheels. He went for 8" width wheels and they look about right. On my 13" wheels, the 8" wide ACB10 tread is in line with the bead inside the wheel. The tyre sidewall bulges out slightly further than the edge of the wheel. It all looks pretty much in line and when you lean heavily on them on trackdays, you can feel that there is little/no lateral movement as the car shifts weight from one side to the other. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Chris Good > Sent: 27 October 2003 16:38 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Sevens] 16 inch wheels for sale > > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Because 8 inch ACB10s actually work better with 8.5 inch wheels as per > > standard SLR sizes. > > Not IME.
