I just dont like it.

Soft suspension, not enough power, dont like the gear box.

If you could fit decent shocks and maybe give it another 40bhp I would enjoy
it a bit more.

I am not a fan of the MX5 to start with so that dont help!!!

Are you talking new or used here?

A used S2000 might cost similar to an MX5 new.

Hmm, I thought the MX-5 was supposed to be a nice and fun car. The last one
got a lot of praise I recall. At least it's got RWD. Why is it not good?

The things I don't like about the Celica is
a) FWD
b) Price drops like a stone with each introduction of a new model.

The Alfas are also FWD but I've driven a couple of them (including the GTV),
and they are all smiles. Pretty hard to detect it was driven by the wrong
pair of wheels I thought.

I'd love to have a S2000 but pricewise it's in the same ballpark as my
current one and I need release some tied-up cash.
