Phelps is nuts.  He's not getting anywhere protesting gays directly anymore;
they've come up with more counter-tactics than he has tactics.  So now he's
trying to make a stink by protesting the funerals of soldiers being killed
in Iraq.  The basic chant is, "Give the nation to fags, your sons come home
in bags."  Boy, is there a place in hell waiting for HIM.  This all makes a
bit more sense with this piece of information: the primary source of income
for his organization is the winnings of lawsuits when its members get
assaulted (after pushing people to the point of being so mad they lose it).
The gay rights organizations figured this out, got wise (and got the word
out), and Phelps' organization stopped getting assaulted, thus no more
money.  So now they're looking for someone else to piss off.
