hi, you're right - you have to be careful when it comes to marketing guys. for crt monitors this can usually be adjusted by contrast and brightness controls, usually internally - kind of like offset (black level) and gain (brightness). it is conceivable that for very fast switching circuits, the monitor does not get 'shut off' totally before being asked to 'turn on.' for projectors, the contrast ratio is an important feature ... ferenc Vince Lok <[email protected]> wrote: Thire reminds me of when I was at a computer show back in the 80's, when computer shows were a good place to pick up equipment at good prices.
