The other thing with the mini-van idea is that in alot of situations, the van will be less expensive to insure and register as well as getting better fuel mileage. The guy who bought my 400 Bandit had a Honda Odessey that he used as a bike hauler; take the mirrors off and it fit in very nicely. He mentioned that people were less likely to bother the minivan at the track as well, thieves don't really seem to think of a mini-van as a bike hauler and with the dark privacy glass, you can't really see what's in it at a glance.
