I'll have to agree with both of you. I love the SV and can't imagine ever replacing it but I would like to get both a smallish dual sport and a largish sport tourer. I'd like to get a DS to do some trail riding. I also have a nephew who will be getting a little 50cc trail bike in a couple of years so I'm gonna have to be able to keep up with a 4 year old. I've done several 500 or 600 mile days in a row on the SV with no trouble so range isn't an issue. I have good soft luggage so storage isn't a big deal either. One thing the SV does not do well (IMO) is go two-up. I want to get something that will be comfortable for my wife and have enough motor to haul my fat a$$ around with a little extra weight hanging out over the rear axle. An ST1300 or a K1200GT should do nicely. -James David Reid wrote: > That is excellent, I totallly feel the same about my SV.
