Keep an eye on your tires. When tires are brand new, they're a little more slippery; this is from the mold release compound that's used in their production. So if you have a good idea where your tire's limits normally are, consider that until they're worn in a bit the ones you have currently won't quite be that grippy yet. I don't know how long it takes on motorcycles, but on cars it usually takes a few hundred miles of normal driving to scrub them in. -----Original Message----- 4) I've got brand new tires (15 miles on them), and my brakes look good. Any other tech inspection "gotchas" to be prepared for? Unfortunately I haven't had time to give my bike a thorough cleaning. ------------------------------------------------- For all your SV needs: http://www.svrider.com To change your list settings or leave SV650-L, please visit http://www.hawkgt.com/sv650/lists.asp
