Keep an eye on your tires. When tires are brand new, they're a little more
slippery; this is from the mold release compound that's used in their
production. So if you have a good idea where your tire's limits normally
are, consider that until they're worn in a bit the ones you have currently
won't quite be that grippy yet. I don't know how long it takes on
motorcycles, but on cars it usually takes a few hundred miles of normal
driving to scrub them in.

4) I've got brand new tires (15 miles on them), and my brakes look good. Any
other tech inspection "gotchas" to be prepared for? Unfortunately I haven't
had time to give my bike a thorough cleaning.
