Dan - Congrats on the bike, and welcome to the SV...uh....cult? :-) (Look, those rumors about sacrificing goats at midnight over a burning Harley carcass are just that...RUMORS!!!! OK?!???) Seriously, the SV was a great choice - as you are no doubt finding out - got mine as a first bike last year, and have loved each and every mile (even through the somewhat invigorating temperatures of a Colorado winter..:-)) Then I found out about this list, and it got even better! :) I would also, though, strongly second the suggestion that you get yourself to an MSF class as soon as humanly possible. You won't get to take your new toy there (they provide the bikes, and if you don't wind up on a Nighthawk 250, consider it unusual!), but it will be the best couple of days you could possibly spend on two wheels. (Note that I said "best," not necessarily "most fun" - although it can be that, too!)
