Dan, Way to go! My SV is a first bike for me too. I have 1800 miles on it after 8 months and it has been a thrill for me like no other experience. I still consider myself a rookie, but most pleased with my choice. This listserv plays an important part of my learning experience - not to mention the support from fellow SV'ers. Good bunch of folks (y'all can say, 'aw shucks' now).
