That stupid BMC race filter is a waste of money for the street, IMHO.
Trust me. I ran the equivalent in a desnorkeled OEM filter for quite a
while.

You need to pull your carbs and see what needles are in there and what
mains and pilots. For the street and a stock pipe, a jet kit isn't
necessary. If you have one installed, toss it and install stock
needles and jets. OEM needles have only one clip position so you'll be
able to readily identify them from aftermarket needles.

If I think about it, I'll take my jets/needles/etc. over to Jim's and
have him take some pics if you need help identifying bits.
