  Thanks for your reply:this somehow confirms my theory that it's almost impossible to reach the limits of a modern sport tire on the road,at least until you stay within the limits of responsible riding-therefore, last generation sport-touring tires like the Diablo Strada or Metzeler Z6 (which someone refers to as "hi-mileage" sticky tires)could actually be the best option for people like me who mostly ride twisty roads without pushing it too much and never do track days.After all if ,i'm not wrong,Pirelli advertises the Diablo as a 80% road\20% track tire,which should actually mean that there's a considerable safety margin you may actually never use in normal riding conditions-sorry for the digression,but i'm trying to persuade myself that i don't really need  Diablos or a Pilot Powers as my next set of tires ;)
