I was able to replicate Jack's HP numbers to a tee with a desnorkled OEM
Suzuki filter, Jack's recommended carb settings, and a full Yoshimura RS-3  pipe.
 I believe I shared my dyno results with the list last summer  (August).  My
A/F #'s were in the mid to upper 14's across the range with  no spikes as what
you experienced.  Unfortunately I don't have the printout  on the A/F#'s.
But if I remember correctly the average A/F# was  14.7.  I did watch the meter
while my bike was being dynoed.  My bike  has been running great and my fuel
mileage is maybe 10% worse than the stock  settings.  Acceptable to me.

I wonder if there was a difference with your bike vs mine because you have
much more mileage on your bike.  Maybe there's some wear issues in your  carbs.
 I remember seeing something on the factorypro site about worn out  needle
jets on the SV650.  Just a thought.

All I know is that it worked for me, and there may be other variables
involved causing the problems you experienced.  I'm not defending  Jack, but it
should be known that his settings worked for at least one other  person, me.
