ScanControl Version 5.0.0 Now Available

ScanControl Version 5.0.0 is now available on the ScanControl Web Site.

We're please to announce the availability of ScanControl Version 
5.0.0.  Details of the release can be found at 
www.scannersoft.com/whatsnew.htm, but the two main highlights are:

1.  Support for Uniden's Dynamic Memory radios - specifically the
BC246T and the BCD396T, with more on the way.  ScanControl 5.0.0 now
supports 12 different Uniden models all in the same code base.

2.  New High Performance Communications Handler - Boosting data
programming and loading speeds to the radio by at least a factor of
10.  This performance increase applies to all the radios ScanControl  
supports, not just the newer Dynamic Memory models.
