BCI25D Accessory Digital Card. BAUD RATE QUESTION 3,600 vs. 9600

The new BC296D comes APCO 25 ready, including the 9600 baud c4fm & 
cqpsk (whatever that means)

I just bought the BCI25D card to work with my BC250 because I wanted 
to receive the digital apco 25 signal and it didnt come with one..

I do know what baud rate is (when referring to PC transfer speeds) 
but my question is... 

Will the difference in Baud rate grossly effect receiving or 
decoding the digital signals?

I guess I am unclear as to what part the BAUD rate plays on actual 
scanning of these APCO 25 digital systems.. Will I be unhappy with 
the 3,600 baud, in which case I will return it and just upgrade my 
scanner to the BC296D..

AND

Are there any other differences that I would be missing with this 
BCI25D that were added to the 296D. (ie, c4fm & cqpsk)

Has anyone bought one of these Digital Cards??
