What a novel thought! Makes one not want to post questions on this reflector! Sean, I have both the BC-250D and the BC-296D. I have swapped the digital cards. The BC-250D (and the BC-3300 for that matter) recognize the BC-296D digital card, and decode APCO-25 digital signals just fine. If someone does not know an answer to a question or just is irritated by it, please hit DELETE rather than ridicule the poster on the list. Such comments are unnecessary and generate unnecessary bandwidth.
