I would like to thank all who responded with relevant information. All I was trying to determine was that the BCi25 and the BCi96 were in fact the same product. I own a BC796d and 2 BC250d's and the cards looked identical. I have had a couple of BC250d's come along without cards, and at least I know that with the bci96 still available, the card could be installed.

AS for the negative comment:
"Well Sean you go buy a bc250 and the BCi96 card and you try it, why would
any of us risk destroying our radio and/or card or both. Let us know if it works.

Perhaps you have had some bad experience in the past by blowing things up by not investigating products before you try to cobble them, but that is not anyone else's fault but your own. I agree with the message after yours.....If you have nothing constructive or intelligent to add, please don't waste your negativity on us.

If you have come here to find out about the 250D you have come to the right place! In fact the discussion of the BC-250D and how it works is the only acceptable topic on this list. Any discussion about anything other than the BC-250D is OFF TOPIC. I hope this is clear to all group members..
