Rebanding

Hi,

Can anyone on this list speculate as to the rebanding issue? I just 
bought a BC250 and worry that my scanner will all of a sudden be 
obsolete once the rebanding initiative has been completed in my area. I 
regularly monitor at least one TRS which is due for rebanding. Is the 
BC250D software upgradable should it be needed?
