 Set the scanner for uhf trunking moto and see if that works.
Once you have the freq in hit search to see if you have any talk groups. If you do, make note of what they are. You must have the base and offset programmed in as well.
?If you get nothing, then it might be edacs which you will need the logical channel order. What are you trying to scan??

well I am pretty sure it's Type 2 UHF but I am not 100% 
I know I was able to hear a little bit just tuneing in  a freq but not
as much as I know is there.
