Thanks so much Roger for the additional input. I have a few days off to "play with my scanner" as my wife says so I'll be trying all your tips. I found a new site that shows the 13 channels of the RISCON trunk that Radio Reference listed broken down differently. According to this list the Westerly Police only use 3 of the channels. I'll include the link so you can take a look if you like. Your opinion is always valued. It looks to me like the plan was for the Southern section of the state to go all APCO with Westerly leading the way. I will also program the trunk as a Type 2 UHF as per your suggestion and use the ARC250 "Check Data" feature for the fill in. Just getting the BC250 to start working and respond to the computer is a huge leap forward. I will keep posting as to my results. Thanks again.
