John:

I have the same problem with one of my BC250Ds. It isn't my battery because the battery is new and works fine in other radios. I haven't pinpointed my problem but I have a theory that the low voltage monitoring circuit in the BC250D is somehow off on the voltage that it triggers the low battery warning and ultimately the radio shutdown. Does anyone know anything about this circuit and is there anyway to adjust the low battery threshold voltage?
