Hi Kevin,

    I did check the battery with a volt meter and its putting 4.8VDC, the wall adapter is the Uniden one made for this scanner and is new so its not that plus it works great when I have the adapter plugged in to the 250D, I just get the low battery warning when I use the battery pack to power it.
