Yes you are right it is the monitor port.. Darn I do not have a nine pin port on this laptop so it would be great if I could go from the usb to the radio... any suggestions.

      I believe your referring to the Monitor out port. Its for an external

display. 



Check the Uniden site for a USB-1 adapter, it goes from USB to Serial DB-9

for the cable you already have.

I have a new laptop that has more than a nine pin connector so the chord

from the pc to the radio will not fit. it is a fifteen pin port. 



Is there an accessory that will go from a USB port to the Uniden 250D.. the

program I use is on the laptop..any suggestions would be helpful. Must be

someway to hook into the radio.
