Yes you are right it is the monitor port.. Darn I do not have a nine pin port on this laptop so it would be great if I could go from the usb to the radio... any suggestions. --- On Mon, 3/15/10, Patrick - Used 2-Way <usedtwowayradios-/[email protected]> wrote: From: Patrick - Used 2-Way <usedtwowayradios-/[email protected]> Subject: RE: [UnidenBC250D] Nine pin connector To: [email protected] Date: Monday, March 15, 2010, 7:00 PM I believe your referring to the Monitor out port. Its for an external display. Check the Uniden site for a USB-1 adapter, it goes from USB to Serial DB-9 for the cable you already have. _____ From: UnidenBC250D@ yahoogroups. com [mailto:UnidenBC250D@ yahoogroups. com] On Behalf Of T B Sent: Monday, March 15, 2010 6:56 PM To: UnidenBC250D@ yahoogroups. com Subject: [UnidenBC250D] Nine pin connector I have a new laptop that has more than a nine pin connector so the chord from the pc to the radio will not fit. it is a fifteen pin port. Is there an accessory that will go from a USB port to the Uniden 250D.. the program I use is on the laptop..any suggestions would be helpful. Must be someway to hook into the radio.
