My BC250D is Tracking a re-banded system!?!

Hello.
I tried to post this yesterday but it didn't go through for some reason. Anyway, I haven't listened to my scanner for a couple of years but thought it might be fun to listen to it on an upcoming trip to Hawaii. When I looked up the frequency info for Kauai it said their system had been rebanded. Further digging revealed that the BC250D can't be upgraded to track rebanded Motorola systems. Dang. But when I turn my scanner on I find it seems to be tracking my local Smartzone system here in Portland, Oregon no problem. Yet the Portland system was rebanded over a year ago, at least according to this page:

I haven't noticed any missed replies or anything that seems out of kilter while tracking the Portland system. So what the heck is up? I'm wondering if I really do need a new scanner for Hawaii or if the BC250D will work just fine. Any thoughts?
