Soldering apprentice me has attached wires to my R2 battery contacts, with which I can hook up an external power source. Up till now I have removed the batteries when hooking up said external power source, a 12V to 3V transformer. If I don't remove the batteries, then I will have the batteries in parallel connection with my external power source. Batteries are 1.2*2=2.4 V, external power source is 3 V. What risks will occur if I don't remove the batteries? "Cell reversal"? Unnecessary load on external power source "recharging" the NiCd or NiMH batteries, etc.? ------------------------ Yahoo!
