problems with R2, tried several makes software, dos and windows based.
Could someone please help with basic Port query?
My modem works fine windows system info reports it on Com 3 and lists
com 1 as the comms port and 2/3/4 as unknown.
When I connect my interface yo the PC serial 9 pin connector (D type)
The PC either freezes until the connector is removed or it
reports "no connection to com 3" ???
The OPC assembly was sent back to Stewarts who retested it as OK.
Which port should the thing appear on?
Thanks for any help.
