What does it mean when I put frequency (124.650) on a memory as PSKIP, but when PSKIP scanning, the R2 insists on opening the speaker momentarily when skipping over it, making for a boomp ... boomp ... boomp, one boomp for each time we pass over it. That is in Auto squelch mode. Higher squelches eliminate the problem. Looking at the screen, one can see we do not stop to listen or otherwise delay scanning when we pass over that frequency, however we make a sound each pass. Volume adjustments don't effect the level of the boomp. Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [email protected] Unsubscribe: [email protected] List owner: [email protected] Yahoo!
