Comet SMA-501 antenna for the IC-R2

Hi, I read a message recently about the Comet SMA-501 antenna for the IC-R2, sounded a good idea, (do you know better?), until I tried to find one here in the UK. The only company found on Google, Radioworld, don't seem to keep them in stock and have not seen fit, as yet to answer my email query.
