I hope someone can help me with a problem I have with TK2. I'm running TK2 on Windows 98, and it doesn't seem to "see" my IC-R2. I'm using a CT-29 cable and a RTS-03 serial to USB adapter from RT Systems. The program seems to start up fine but when I try to read data from the radio using the command from the pull down menu, it just sits there and does nothing. All the places in the program that would have data displayed are blank. This is disappointing. At first I thought it was the cable, but when I ran Butel ARC2 demo software that I downloaded, it was able to see my IC-R2 right away, and display my radio's data and print it out. I'm not sure but perhaps it may have something to do with which port one states the radio is on? When I first started up TK2 for the first time, I recall that a dialog box opened up and asked me which port the radio was on, "Com 1", "Com 2", Com 3", etc. I think I may have clicked "Com 2", when it should have been "Com 3". But I cannot verify this because I cannot find anyway to get back to that dialog box! Every pulldown menu I looked at I couldn't find any command that would allow me to select "Com 3". Any bright ideas out there? Thanks. Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [email protected] Unsubscribe: [email protected] List owner: [email protected] ------------------------ Yahoo!
