It seems to me that he is trying to protect his software from being
pirated.

If that is a reason for you to stop using something that you have
already paid for then so be it.  I am sure that you did pay.

If he chooses to protect his enterprise from piracy I respect his right
to do so.

There is no update at our website. The software at our website is a 
DEMO version and will not accept registration. 

You need to use the software emailed to you or if you purchased a CD 
use that to install the software.

If you need the latest version, send us proof of purchase and you 
receive a free updated version.
