I bought the Icom R2 a few years ago (pls, pardon my english writing) but I had to sell last year because of necessity. Three days ago I bought a Radio Shack Pro-82, here in Panamá. I paid $117 (including sales tax). The store price was $120 plus sales tax. I know the radio cost some $80 in USA. But import taxes and so forth has to be paid. The store does not have the cable (neither the program). And I am sure I will have to pay a great deal to get it from USA. Therefore, I downloaded the program (have many hours in internet). But, I get this advise from the computer program (field location can not be found). I imagine the icom cable must be adjusted. But I do not know anything about it. I know both radios are completely different. Yet, it could be possible to make good hand shaking by adjusting the cable. MuchÃsimas gracias...
