Hi all, I have a IC-R2 that is about 4 yrs old. I use it everyday to listen to the local pd, fire and rescue for the surrounding counties. However here lately I have noticed that when listening to my local pd on uhf the signal is received and then the signal just goes right out and then comes right back in. It seems like the uhf signals like to come and go. I thought it was because I was carrying the scanner on my side but I have noticed that with it sitting on the table it does that sometimes. It does not do it all the time. And more strangely it only does it on uhf and not vhf? Has this happened to any one else? If so what steps did you do to correct it? Oh another question, what would be a good choice for a all-band replacement antenna for the IC-R2 sma connector? Thanks, Joey [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
